Rear fenders...

Yesterday I went to go pick up some parts from my buddy Travis in S.D. and I got some inspiration to work on my truck. I got home and got the truck running, hooked up all the cables, choke, battery and misc. parts to start her up. Today I put the side glass on, the windshield and tail lamps. I have to do some work to the drivers running board because its making the rear fender push down and that looks goofy. We I just wanted to up date you guys. Got to get back to work.

What!!! A Dick....

Coming home from our monthly cruise night and I get pulled over by the infamous officer Orozco. He gave me a ticket for my exhaust not coming to the body line also for my Mickey T 's street slicks. He really is not that bad but I guess he has to make a living fucking with people. Oh well I knew it was my turn. Now. I have to get one of my cop buddies to sign off on it and pay the $25 bucks.

Little update, painted the fenders an running boards.

Cab back on...

My wife and I got the cab back on the frame. I had it elevated to get the bottom of the cab painted. We also washed down the frame and all the suspension components. Cleaned up the engine, transmission and firewall.I also have scuff down any over spray left behind and paint over.  I will keep you guys posted.

Paint on the cab....

Finally got some paint on the cab and bed. My brother came over this morning and we finished masking the cab and getting it ready to shoot. He went over it with 500 sand paper and cleaned up the surface then shot the sealer. After two coats of sealer the paint went on and man does it look bitchen. He shot the cab out side so we expected Lil dirt in the paint but its satin so you really wont see it. Here's some photos of the process.

Antique Nationals 2012

Well today I had to get out of the grind of working on my pick up, so I headed down to Irwindale for some hot rod action. This was the Antique Nationals and my firts time attending. There was rummors that they had canceled the show and I was really bummed out about that. Last week I saw that the show was still on and I made it a must to go and check it out. I dragged my sister inlaw and her husband (homie Randy) to the show. I ran in to Kevin Perry also known as Kiwi Kev in his Willies coupe. Well I need to keep it short since I do work tomorrow.
