Sears and Roebucks muscle bicycle.

I bought this bicycle a few years ago on Craigslist.  It was sold to me along with a woman's Western Flyer. The bicycle was in pretty bad shape. The whole bicycle was painted silver except the tires. The seat and grips are orange flake witch I think was original to the bike. Well last month while on my own paternity leave I decided to take it apart and rebuild it. So the disassembly starts. I got the bike in pieces and sanded down to the factory color.  Sure enough the bike was a bright orange color. I was on a search for the right orange color and I did find obe that was close. It was an art type spray paint that was matte finish.  I used a wheel finish clear for the top coat. Did about 3 coats of color and clear. Once the body and forks were done I cleaned up the crankshaft , chain ring ,bearing cups and bearings. I cleaned the head cups and reused the bearings too. The pedals were okay just needed some paint.  The rest of the chrome was in decent shape too.  The wheels well that's the bad part.  The spokes are rotted and need to be replaced but they do work okay. Well here is the final product.

Ventura Nationals 2013

Went out to the nationals today and man was this a blow out. At least 700 cars and real good quality too. I wish I would have snapped more pics but it was way too hot to concentrate.  I ran in to alot of good friends, that makes the show worth it for me. Travis made it in from San Diego with the Chief roadster pickup.  Jordan Gram brought his new roadster out. Jeff and his brother Dusty brought their cars. My whole crew and friends joined in on the festivities.  Well enough of this here are some photos.

Fifty pour at DynoDannys Garage...

Finally got the fifty pour to my house for some final electrical issues, mechanical and cosmetic work. My home boy Richard has had this car for about 6 years now and it has came along way. It's in its final stages now to becoming a 70s Lowrider. I have the gauge cluster that I have been working on and now I will be installing.  The front glass will be going on along with the headliner. Still have to wire the front parking lights and go over the headlamps and brake light circuit. We are getting it road worthy to get to Fillmore for the 4th of July show. Here are some progress photos. ..
